Fuel Efficiency Formulas

The MPG formula is simple: MPG = Distance (miles) / Fuel (gallons). Higher values mean better fuel economy. The L/100km formula is: L/100km = (Fuel in liters / Distance in km) x 100. Unlike MPG, lower values indicate better efficiency. To convert between the two, use L/100km = 235.215 / MPG and MPG = 235.215 / L/100km.
